Police officers who where captured beating woman in a viral video dismissed from the force

Police officers who their act has been described to be unprofessional after they were captured in a viral video beating a woman at the Odo Ori Market in Iwo, Osun State, have been dismissed by the force.

The two officers Inspector Ikuesan Taiwo and PC Abass Ibrahim, were arrested after a video of the assault went viral and was condemned by Nigerians and was brought to the attention of the Inspector-General of Police, Muhammed Adamu.

Now the police has revealed on Twitter that the pair have been dismissed from the force, and would also be arraigned to court soon.
